Shopping with Clarion World Car Audio
Clarion World Audio is the UK's leading independent distributor
of Clarion products and associated accessories.
We hold large stocks of the items featured on our website
and are proud to offer free UK mainland delivery to your home
or workplace.
We have tried to make the use of our website self-explanatory,
but have provided here responses to some of the questions
we are asked most often.

Purchasing
Making a purchase at Clarion World Car Audio is easy
and secure.
When you find an item you want to purchase, click the
‘Add to Basket’ button. A quantity of one item will be added
to your ‘Shopping Basket’. If you wish to increase the quantity
of an item in your order, simply enter the new quantity
in the Shopping Basket display and click the 'Update' button.
In a similar way, items can be removed from the shopping
basket by clicking on the relevant 'Delete' button.
When you have finished shopping, proceed to our secure
payment page by clicking the ‘Secure Checkout’ button on
the Shopping Basket page.
Searching and Browsing
The easiest way to find what you're looking for is to
search for it. The ‘Search’ box is on the top-left of every
page. Simply type in a model number or feature of the item
you are looking for into the box and click ‘Search’.
If you don’t find what you want straight away, here are
a few tips:
- Keep it simple: best results are often obtained
if you enter just one or two key words from the model
number of a product
- Don’t use words like ‘the’, ‘and’, ‘Clarion’, etc.
which will produce too many results.
- Words or number of two or less characters will be
ignored
- Don’t worry about punctuation. Adding punctuation
is not necessary when searching; our search engine will
ignore it.
Searching is not the only way to find what your looking
for – browsing the site is also an option. The main areas
of the site are shown on the left hand side menu on every
page. Simply click the link to display items within that
category, together with further sub-categories in some cases
.
If a product is listed but the supplier has not yet provided
us with an availability date, you can choose the ‘Notify
me’ service. For these products you simply enter your email
address on the product description page and click ‘Notify
me’. We will then email you as soon as the item becomes
available to order or pre-order.
Delivery Policy
At Clarion World Car Audio standard delivery is
free on everything within UK mainland (excluding heavy or
high-value parcels to certain areas of the Scottish Highlands).
Standard delivery for all products from Clarion World Car
Audio usually takes 1-5 working days from date of dispatch.
Parcels with a value of over £50 will require a signature
on delivery. If the parcel is sent by courier, the courier
company may not leave a card to show that a delivery has
been attempted, so it is important to give a delivery address
where yourself, a friend or colleage will be available to
sign for the parcel.
How to place an order from outside the UK
We can ship the majority of our products internationally.
For heavy or high-value orders we will quote for carriage
costs and await your approval before the order is processed.
All our website prices are quoted and orders processed,
in pounds sterling - the exchange rate applied to the transaction
will be determined by your credit card issuer.
My order has not arrived
There are several reasons why an item you ordered may
not have been received:
- Your credit card may have been declined. If for
any reason we cannot process payment on the credit card
details supplied with your order, we will send an email
to the address you have quoted on your order, asking
you to contact us to resolve the problem. This may involve
contacting your credit card issuer.
- An item may be out of stock. If an item goes out
of stock and we expect to receive new stock within a
reasonable time we will hold your order and dispatch
the item to you as soon as stock is available. If the
delay in dispatch is likely to be longer than a few
days, we will inform you by email.
- The parcel cannot be delivered because a signature
is required. Heavy or higher value parcels will need
to be signed for on delivery. Sometimes a card will
be left with re-delivery instructions, but this is
not always the case. If you are not available, to avoid delays, we recommend
that you quote a delivery address where a friend or
colleague is available to sign for the parcel.
- The parcel has been lost. Very occasionally a parcel
is lost in transit. If the parcel has been sent by courier,
please let us know as soon as possible. If the parcel
is a low value, standard delivery it will be sent by
Royal Mail post. Please note that Royal Mail will not
investigate the non-delivery of an item before 10 working
days have elapsed.
- An invalid delivery address or postcode has been
supplied. Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible
for parcels lost due to an incorrect, incomplete, misleading
or inaccurate delivery address or postcode being quoted
on an order.
- Item not yet available (pre-order) If you have pre-ordered
an item we will hold your order and dispatch the item
to you as soon as stock is available. Your card is not
charged until the order is processed and dispatched.
Technical support
We are happy to answer most questions about the specification
or features of the products on our website, but on occasion
may need to refer you to manufacturer's dedicated technical
helplines for the answers to more unusual or detailed enquiries.
In particular, it is not usually possible for us to answer
questions about installation your specific vehicle. The
technical description and product images on our website,
when compared to the actual vehicle in question, will usually
provide an answer - but in some circumstances it may be
necessary to seek the advice of an experienced car audio
installer.
Due to the high number of enquiries from valued customers,
we are unable to offer after-sales support for products
purchased from other suppliers.
